I have some OGM files I trying to burn. Problem is that when I try to save the file as an avi (so I can convert it using TMPGEnc) the avi file is over 20 gigs while the OGM is only about 300 megs. I think it has something to do the videos being indexed incorrectly. When I play them in VideoLAN, it shows the files are over 3 hours long when there are only about 30 minutes. Any help would be appreciated.
try using ACP (audio/video conversion tool). i've been using this for quite sometime now and it works fine. though this software can readily convert the file to mpeg, you can select the ogm to avi conversion only, and then use TMPGENC separately if you still need to adjust the settings. hope this helps!! cheers!
it's a little to late but if anyone else is looking for a way, I found a great post how to convert ogm files. http://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=241422
