I have downloaded a film with its original dvd structure (video_ts...etc.) and converted it to .ISO with DVDShrink / burned it to DVD with DVDDecrypter, and then when I watched it, it was black and white, and the screen kept jumping...making me think it was PAL. I burned it as region-free in DVD Decrypter, so I guess I need to convert the actual film to NTSC. How do I convert a PAL to NTSC either from the .iso, the video_ts folder, or taking the current dvd and copying to the correct format? I need to keep all the dvd menus (it is a film in cantonese with either engils dubs or subs via the menu). Can anyone help me?

Before doing the conversion the first thing I'd try is to look up the DVD Player on www.videohelp.com. As example, I have Philips 724 and it will play both PAL and NTSC. But if I leave the output type(what TV is hooked up) to the default of "auto" when it's sees a PAL DVD it assumes
I'm playing it on a PAL TV. I got the same picture rolling as you describe. I changed the setting to NTSC for the TV and it plays PAL
    discs fine.

So look up your player. Maybe you'll get lucky. :)
