converting 'playback prohibitted' dvds

k, so yah, my sony dvd progressive scan (say about 1 1/2 yrs old) dvd player gives me that message. The DVD is one of those say "ahem ahem" dvds. How can I convert that to a dvd i can play on my sony dvd player?

any guides/steps to convert would be appreciated.

 

load your dvd into shrink and select full backup.
You should be able to make a full copy of the disc

 

Throw out the Sony and buy a el cheapo Chinese DVD player - they handle anything including burnt toast.

 

the copy should be able to be played .However colw's suggestion is more feasible as a chinese player that plays all is only like $50.00
