I have read a few posts on this question but i'll still have a few questions on it.

my computer at home isn't connected to the internet. I downloaded the free real player at work and installed it at home. My friend gave me a few ra files to convert to mp3.
The current free player couldn't play the files. It needed to be updated with files.
Now assuming the ra files arent streamed but downloaded completley can I convert the files using another program without having to download pluggins for real player as im not a fan for real player? and what is the best software to do this? Can i just uninstall real player and use the other program to play and convert the ra files?

Cheers _X_X_X_X_X_[small]winning isn't everything but losing is nothing!![/small]
