converting starview .PVR files to avi

    Bought a Starview PVR and just wondering is there anyway of converting the .pvr files to avi so I can watch them on my media player or burn them to dvd?

    I have the same receiver and I was trawling the web to find out the same thing. So far no luck!!

    Yeah same here, not found a thing.
    Looks like the only hope is to connect it to your PC via an AV cable.
    Have you had any issues when you record something then when you go to watch it all you get is a black screen and it just locks up?

    Has anyone got an answer to converting starview pvr files to mpeg2 or avi. Is there software that can do this?

    Would apreciate any feedback...
