Hi, could someone please point me in the right direction for a kick arse guide on changing the connection to a usb connection please. Bailey
I think this is what you're looking for: http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/xbox-usb-xbox-cable.php Warning, Begining Of Rant ------------------------------------------------ and as a side note, i really had no idea where to find this article, not even what site to look on, but i did a simple one min google search and found it. Now im not saying you didn't try, but common, search before you ask, i don't even post here to often anymore and it sorta gets on my nerves that im doing others research for them. use google. ------------------------------------------------ End Of Rant
Cheers for the effort [bold]msb5150[/bold], i have researched it before, but there is a lot of knowledge within these boards themselves, i like to put my feelers out and see if i can get some one on one info from those in the know, but from now on i shall be more aware. Thankyou. Bailey
ok, if anyone is planning on doing the conversion, you'll need a driver, and this seems to be the best one going at the mo', tho feel more than free to add a message if you have a better/more up to date driver. http://www.grooveyardfunk.com/projects/xid/ And make sure you read the mini faq, uninstalling the driver requires deleting a few certain files from your system, check it out. If you're mod crazy this dude really goes the whole hog with controllers. http://web.njit.edu/~jal0737/Neo-Geo/Universal_Joysticks2.htm This is a bit old tho, interesting none the less. Looks like i'll be destroying xbox controllers this weekend... Bailey
the controller mod is really easy to do if you cut the xbox cable it has the same colors as your standard PC USB. and you need the driver too they really work great, but the x-arcade is a better controller than the home built one in the other link, their just like the arcade just no cig burns!!
