Can someone give me a step by step process on converting AVIs with WinAVI to burning them with Nero. My last attempt some how ended in disaster
Hi there, Have a look at the new DivXtoDVD Pro v2.00 (v1.99.11 Release Candidate). http://www.vso-software.fr/ It will convert your .AVI and can burn it now. It has a build in burn engine !
hi could do? as its set that way so its slower rom what the website says? 4 hours WOW! used to be an hour or so with old free version!
I was successful at downloading older{and quicker} version at following http://download2.vso-software.fr/vsodivxtodvd_free_setup.exe but I had to go to Explorer and actually type in site, hope it works for you.
note there is underslash before and after free for this site its kinda blocked out when you look at the post.
Strange, if I click on web site in post its not available but if I physically type it in explorer it goes directly to download, can anyone explain? Yep Rotary you're right NO watermark and I think faster.
Rotary just went to site maybe this might make a difference but I dont see how vsoDivxToDVD The site I went to I used CAPITAL letters as shown.. should this make a difference? I couldnt access it using all lower case but changing like so got me there. Wanna try and reply?
Hello, the old free version is available on http://www.vso-software.fr/download.htm look at product DivxToDVD and in very small print (last line) you will see the link for verion 0.5 If the new release candidate is slow that is because the watermark is implimented during conversion, this can slow down the application significantly as you noticed. When the 2.0 version comes out (in two weeks or so) the trial version will change so that the first week is completely free and limitless in use, meaning no watermark, thus no change in speed, ability to burn, etc. After one week the watermark will appear.
