Converting to CCITV u-law

    Hello all, I have a few wavs that I need to convert to CCITT ulaw 8 khz 8 nit mono files. I have installed Audacity, but I'm not really an audio guy. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Why do you want to convert to CCITT ulaw 8 khz 8 nit mono files? They are not commonly used.

    For an uncommon application. :p I actually did figure it out. The files were voices for a Cisco phone system. You know the "If you would like to _____ press 4" things. That system only accepts that format exactly.

    I am glad you figured it out that format is not used in any of the tools we use for music.
