Would it be worth converting my movies to DivX and then burning them on to my DVD5 disk, if my dvd player supports DivX? Would there be an increase in quality, as the conversion to DivX may preserve more quality than the automatic conversion, by say, DVD Shrink.

Let's say we have an apple..... and I beamed it up to the ENTERPRISE..... ask Scottie if the apple taste better here or on board the ship????!! Sorry..... got carried away! You start off with a DVD and then convert it to a different format...... you can't go up in quality more than the DVD itself, but it can stay the same or go down with conversion! Soooooo if you beam that same apple up to Scottie it will still taste the same as if you didn't beam it up at all..... unless there's something wrong with the tranporter and you get apple sauce instead of an apple! LOL.

sorry..... I guess I'm getting burnt out!

    OMG, LMAO ihoe :)

Dont waste the time of converting to divx first, there is no way you will lose the same amount of quality if you just use Shrink.
