EAC (exact audio copy) is hands down the best ripper there is. It has been the standard ripper pros have used for years. It uses extensive error correction and drive control to ensure a 100% accurate rip. When combined with the LAME mp3 encoder plugin using VBR (variable bitrate) settings, you will get the best quality you can from mp3s.
