Using WinDVD Creator 2, I have converted many VHS videos to DVD. However, I suddenly came across one with protection on it and WinDVD Creator refused to record it and informed me of the protection. I found this very annoying. I recently downloaded a trial version of Ulead DVD Movie Factory 3 and found that this does allow you to record protected videos. After recording the video to my hard drive, I then went on to edit and create a DVD using WinDVD Creator 2. Thought this might be of interest to others who have come across this problem. ted535
