I searched for this issue but came up empty. I'm using AGK v.2.55 to convert VOB files to one 700mb AVI. NOTE: I'm not ripping DVDs .. they are already ripped (DVD Decrypter) into folders. I first tried VirtualDubMpeg which gave me a PERFECT Mpeg file but it was 4+GB large. Both video and audio were fine so I know the source VOB files are ok. Then I tried to convert with AGK from 3 different folders (3 different movies) and each time I get a perfect 700mb AVI but with an audio track that cuts in and out every few seconds throughout the movie. Sync seems to be fine, however. In Advanced Options I have Output Resolution Settings set to Auto Width / XviD. The VOB audio tracks are 'Audio Stream 0AC3' and in Advanced Options I have Output Audio Type set to AUTO. Any ideas? Thanks.
Does the output AVI have AC3 or MP3 audio? I think that if you select 700MB, you get mp3. In Advanced Options, choose AC3 to see if it makes a difference.
attar, Good thinking .. it has mp3. So it's possible that converting the audio to mp3 is a no-no? We'll see. I just started a conversion with AC3 selected. I'll know in about 1-2 hrs. Thanks, Bill
