I am making a DVD. This DVD needs to have 3 or 4 chapters like a regular DVD but the chapters need to be all audio files - there are no video files. About 6 months ago I had a technician author a DVD like this so I know it is possible. The DVD he made for me plays on any DVD player. Each of chapter contains 10-15 tunes which play one after the other till the chapter is over. Then the DVD goes to the next chapter automatically. It works great.

Question: How did he do it? He converted wave files that were on a CD-R in the form of .cda files and simply converted the entire CD (with all 10 .cda files) into one.vob file. That .vob file is one chapter on the DVD-R. I watched the technician do it and it seemed simple but I cannot repeat what he did.

    Hello orfa. :)

This could be what you're looking for. ;)
I don't know if there is an equivalent freeware available.

I guess it is also possible to reach a similar result by using a wave/cda converter of some sort, and a DVD authoring programs.
You'll have to wait for someone more knowledgeable than myself though. ;)
