converting with vista ....PLEASE HELP

    i have vista hate it with a passion but i cant get winavi to work on it so is there any conversion tools out there that will work for vista? i tried dvd flick or something like that an the quality of the dvd was like video taping it with a cell phone in a movie theater so if anyone has any ideas please share with me

    Try VSO ConvertXtoDVD, not free though and the trial will leave a watermark in your video. Fast, easy and better quality than WinAvi (in my opinion).

    Did you chose the "High Quality-2 pass" encoding with DVD Flick, or the fast encoding setting? I am absolutely pleased with DVD Flick( given that you have a quality video file to begin with).
