I believe you have to convert the WMV file to an AVI file, encode this file then author it and burn to DVD. Also I have noticed that the WMV file ends up producing a inferior quality in the end. Better to start with AVI file.

Just for my own knowledge, isn't WMV file inferior in quality compared to AVI file?
A question I have is afetr I edit my captured file, and then I save it as AVI file, why is the Audio & video out of sync, and how do I fix this?

Yes, but there may be some are in good quality if the file was not compressed.

Many people use VirtualDub to modify the video and audio of the media file. I'm unfamiliar operating VirtualDub, but you can search for threads/guides that can solve your problems.

    Search thru these forums:

If you can find the user, rebootjim, he's an expert in this kind of area...
