I just started using convertX for encoding, i have always used DivxtoDVD in the past.

My question is ConvertX is creating an additional step when the movie starts up on the TV screen, when the movie starts up a screen comes up with the VSO logo and an a promp to start the movie, is there a way to convert so the movie starts right up when the disk is
    inserted in the DVD player

go to the dvd menu section and choose "no menu" under default template and also check the box that says "auto start playback". That should do the trick, thats how my converts2dvd is setup and my dvd's play automatically when inserted in the dvd player.

when you press settings all the options tabs open up. press the menu tab, the first line will say default template. Right here you will choose the one that says "no menu". then check the box that says auto playback and press ok at the bottom. That will save your settings.
