Hey everyone. Y'all have been useful before.

I've had some real good experiences with ConvertXtoDVD. But recently, I've had it shut down in the middle of a burn. No warning, no error codes -- it's almost like I never started running the program.

    Any suggestions?

If the PC reboots, it might be a heat problem.

also make sure it wasn't a blip as an electrical surge or momentary brown out! In my area I get those and every so often (once a month or so) there is a brown out for a second or two and everything goes off. Nothing wrong with the computer but that's what happens in my area with the electricity. You would think that after 36yrs that they would get the electricity thing right!

no thats not it. no computer problems. no overheating --

literally, one second the program is there, minimized in my tray and then bam, gone. no error code, no problem reopening the program. the computer doesn't restart or anything. its just like the program is zapped by aliens who are stealing my burn.

When you start the program, minimize it while it is burning.

I had the same problem and it would complete the burn if minimized (don't know why) but would just quit if left open in full or even partial screen.

I finally had to do a "Clean" install and it fixed the problem.
