i just tried out the new ConvertXtoDVD 3.0.0.1 last night and with both discs that i burnt i experienced somewhat of a 'zoomed in' picture when i played it back on my standalone. to be honest im not sure if this had happened with the previous versions but i think i would have noticed it before like i did last night. anyone know what this could be? playing the AVI on my computer has the proper aspect ratio but it seems to change slightly when its burnt onto a disc using CXTDVD 3.0.0.1. im tempted to downgrade back to an older version as a result of this. as for settings, i tried both the 'Full D1' setting (default) and the 'Automatic based on input resolution' setting but they both turned out the same.

Anyone who has an idea on what this could be please let me know! I'm thinking it could be some sort of bug or glitch in the new CXTDVD.

Thanks in advance for any input.

I converted an AVI and compared the converted DVD to the AVI.... there is a very small difference but not much at all. makes sure your settings are this:

thanks for those comparisons. i hate the idea of it not being true to the original AVI even if the difference is minimal. Does anyone know if the previous versions were like this? I've since downgraded back to version 2 for the time being.
