Hi there! I am sort of asking for help, and maybe partly venting at the same time.

I have been using ConvertxtoDVD for almost 2 years, and I LOVE IT! My old version still works, and I can't do the same thing with the new version.

    Here is the problem:
I like to keep things simple. I like the title page to be an edited (by me) version of the movie I am coding. I'll find a nice image, edit it, resize to 720x540, and tell ConvertxtoDVD to use it when coding. All this takes me about 10 minutes. I'm used to it.

My old version is 2.2.3.258. I love it. I am testing out version 3.0.0.1, and it's totally different. I cannot get it to use my picture for a title screen! I have to use one of the "templates"! The movies code fine, I've come to expect this. It's just that they seem to have taken away my favorite feature!

If you, or anyone you know, has experienced this, or just wants to vent (or praise) about the new version, please feel free to post!

Maybe I'm just missing something. I've already made 3 well coded coasters. I am truly annoyed!

Well, when all else fails, read the instructions!

Unfortunately, this manual is from Version 2.1.14, February 13th, 2007. It doesn't really apply to this situation.

I'd like to know how you got your titlepage, attar! It's pretty good, only I'd find a way to make the title selection smaller, or a different color. The focus should be the background pic, at least the way I do it. You seem to have tapped into something I am overlooking...

I opened up the menu parameters (Chapters, Root Menu or Settings), selected the little square box and picked a background.
That's about as far as I know.

I'm sorry, i was there already. I wasn't able to change the background, even though I was using a picture. Maybe I have to change it for all the menus (there's more than one, now!). I will try this tomorrow...

    I'll keep you posted...
