    Hi there ,

Is Anyone having problems with ConvertXtoDvd .. i find everything is
cool except the aspect ratio resize ; im running x64 pro corp with all the right codecs etc.

Just updated to version 2.1.18.242 ; and i read all the updates that apparently were made to fix issues but im still having trouble ..letterbox is ok ..but wouldnt mind fullscreen ..tried 4:3 aspect ratio and it defaults to letterbox.

Is there any work arounds for this issue ? Tweaks ? any help would be appreciated ..Cheers !

I don't think ConvertX has changed, inasmuch as the check-box for TV settings refers only to the screen aspect of your TV.
Unless the video is 4:3 it isn't going to fill the screen and 16:9 aspect video will be letter-boxed on the 4:3 screen.

I quit using the automatic setting and always set the aspect ration manually.....anything larger than 1:1.333 gets set to 16:9

ConvertX has preformed better in some aspects as compared
    to one I was using for a while called super dvd creator ;
allthough with the resize issue which super dvd never mucks
up and just takes any ole video and resizes it not a problem
your still left with freezes and motion difficulty.

Yeah the automatic setting thing is a pain i set it manually
and like you say there Fiji5555 it just does its own thing
like my girlfriend after a few bottles ..hmm ...oh well guess
ill try and find a config file and force the darn thing to
    set 4:3 .

Theres three things I like about ConvertX ... can convert/encode a various number of video formats , the thing actually burns right on the 64bit o.s , and theres no motion problems , and freezing issues.

Thanks for comments guys ill take em onboard and do the numbers !

    Cheers ! ;)

Have you ever tried DVD Flick? It will encode to different aspects and supports multiple formats as well.

    http://www.dvdflick.net and a guide.
