    The only user friendly software i know of that will convert .mkv video files to DVDs is ConvertXtoDVD. It is always having problems. First it won't accept high quality DVD-Rs only -Rs now it reversed itself. It is supposed to accept bot. I am not incredibly savvy and it was not easy sending the logs to them. Then they wanted me to download and install a program and run their programs simontanoulsy and send both logs. My computer didn't like that. (It is rather nasty tempered and seldom likes anything).It is an AMD Athlon(tm)64X2 Duel core Processor
    5600= 2.81 Ghz 3.5 cs GB ram.
    I know of only this program to make one step high quality videos for DVDs out of.mkv files. DVD Santa wouldn't work and wouldn't respond.
    Is there a reason for this glitch? A way to fix it? Or is there a better program I don't know of?
    Thanks

    You might have downloaded a bad version. Your PC specs are perfectly fine.
    Download the newest version which is 3.8.0.193d. And read step by step through this guide before doing it again:

    There's also DVD Flick (freeware), but I've always preferred ConvertXtoDVD.

    Good luck.
