I just got ConvertXtoDVD and the first time I tried it, everything went well. It converted and burnt and played on my dvd player. Now the second time I try it. It will convert it, and burn but then the task bar will go to 100% done then skip back to 50% and it just keeps doing this. It wont "finish" Any ideas? Also if I let it sit for a while and nothing happens, I shut the program down, but the Disc Drive light still flashes green, and when I push the open door button, it wont open. I have to restart the computer in order for it to work.
Try setting ConvertX to not burn. Then use the 'Build' function of ImgBurn (free) to burn to disc. This will help to isolate where the problem is. I always 2 step like this as I like to check the resultant files before burning and prefer ImgBurn over all other burning apps.
Hi, Please provide us the conversion / burn logs. I see those issues everyday: - Low quality media - Burning too fast - Outdated firmware on the burners - PIO mode instead of DMA mode All those cause burning / playback issues !
