    i just installed a geforce 6800 and i get this message when my computer starts up ;

    ALERT ! additional card cage fan needed for pci express card over 75 watts !

    what do i do? will i damage something if i play a game without an additional fan? this is my first video card that hooks up to my power supply, i'm unsure what to do. can i get a hand?

    The 6800 has a lovely vga cooler on it and I'm sure you're fine. Has this warning presented itself more than once? Also, do you have fair cooling/ventilation in your computer?

    it pops up everytime i start my computer, i have to press F1 to continue. why am i getting this error? do i need to install another fan? i would imagine i already have good ventilation.

    please help.
