coolsat 5000 flahes on and off

    my coolsat 5000 flahes on and off numbers and ---- flashes can anyone help please!!!

    I have coolsat5000 platinum and the same happens. At a friend's it works fine and yet when I hook it to my TV it comes on and off. Has anyone replied to you? Let me know if you have a solution. Robin..
