coolsat 6000/ no com-port on PC

Hi, if someone could tell me what kind of cable to buy to program coolsat 6000 my new PC does not have a db9 com-port USB is available and a 15 pin port any help would be great. Thankyou.

 

you need a usb to rs232 adapter. you can get them at radio shack. this does not always work

If it dosen\t work, maybe you can find a old computer that has a rs port or get a stb that will take a usb thumb drive
