I have a Coolsat 6000 box and want to use with DirecTV dish. Could you guy suggest me how to install a software and key codes. Thank you.
Load the latest bin for the coolsat 6000,do your sat set ups and turn on auto roll. Then set it on a channel and let it do its thing, it may take 5 to 10 minutes for the auto roll to complete the first time.
Thank you for reply. I have done with loading bin, but I tried to do auto scan but I do not know which satellite I have to choose. My location is Buena Park, California 90620 and using with DirecTV disc.
Go to menu>installation>dish settings Choose a satellite with 2 green bars - this is just to help you in the next step. In the very top right corner, it tells you the satellite you are aimed at. NOT the 1 to the right of 'Satellite'. It should be in the very top right corner right beside Dish Settings. It will appear only with 2 good green bars. In my case, it's Bell Expressvu 91. The number is the important item. Now go to menu>installation>autoscan You now have to go to the number you had from the last step. In my case, 91W Nimiq 1 , 3 Select and scan. the number represents the degrees.
