It sounds like your computer is not recognizing you stb. I could be from the wrong cable. I don't know if you need a straight of null. Are you using the cable that came with the box?
and I also test it on my other desttop. It seem the same,so how do I know what drive should I paste the unzipped bin to my receiver.
You have to unzip the bin into a loader. I am going to post the instructions on how to load everything. Loading Instructions for Coolsat 6000 C/P THANKS TO FURFACE Open a new file on your computer and name it FTA files. First you need to go to the Files Only section in the 6000 Forum You will need Proloader 2.4 save to FTA file. http://forums.f2atv.com/showthread.php?t=28159 You will need bin 100 (unzip) the original factory bin. Save to FTA file. http://forums.f2atv.com/showthread.php?t=35637 You will need the new current active bin which is Bin 144 today. http://forums.f2atv.com/showthread.php?t=127450 You will need to unzip the 144 Bin file and save in FTA file. Note the proloader will require the unzipped stb file for it to work. You now have all the tools to load your receiver and are ready to Continue; Loading New File To Coolsat 6000 * Power Off receiver using switch on back of unit & disconnect from TV * Connect receiver to PC using supplied cable & and plug in AC power cord * Turn receiver power switch back on. * Open up Coolsat Pro Loader File * Using browse option, locate and select **Coolsat 6000-100-STB file **This will load the original factory program to the receiver. As long as your Direct TV is aimed at the Dish satellite. Also if you haven't got the cable to work yet, try starting your computer and hitting your DEL button repeatedly to enter BIOS mode. Restore your defaults and close and save. Your port may be turned off in your bios. Some stores turn them off, because this port is not greatly used. Some new computers don't come with that port anymore, and then you would need to buy an adaptor. (if buying adaptor, make sure it comes with an installation disk)
im pretty sure my cable and port is good. ok, here's what i've done, i've followed all the steps as directed above. when i run the the pro loader it shows loading to 100% and then deleting to 100%. The dish I have is pretty big, at least 30in but I switched the eye for one off a smaller direct tv dishes. This was after I used the original direct tv pro eye. I was told that the pro will not work with the coolsat 6000. I tried aiming at the the different satellites for various networks unsuccessfully, and i havent even been able to get any kind of reception from anything. Anyone that could help would be greatly appreciated
The original eye should of worked unless it's broke. My neighbour is using his Direct TV oval dish aimed at DISH satellite (110)
My CS6000 Premium does not hold on to specific channel settings. I lock/delete some channels but they show up as active in an hour or two. Is there an optional memory card I will need to get that is associated with the CS6000 to "hold my channel settings"? I'm also having an issue where I need to do a PID scan to get some channels. For instance, I'm watching CNN for awhile and then switch over to another channel. Once I switch over I lose the CNN station and must do a PID scan to get the CNN station back. Can someone explain in detail what the PID scan is and what the heck is going on? Thanks.
Autoroll is zapped again for DISH and BEV. Need to enter your keys manually and turn off the autoroll. Fixes should be on the way.
Go to channel 8282 and use the remote to enter the keys. If your using BEV, load the old 148 bin. I have it installed, and my receiver never went off. The autoroll is working fine for me. Let me know if it works for anyone else.
