coolsat 700 wuestion

hi guys i got a coolsat 700 and i was wondering how do i install an external harddrive, do i have to format it?

 

You have to format it with the stb.

 

and how do i do that, i heard somewhere that even if i have a 250 GB harddrive or greater, i will only be able to use 32gigs ... is this true?

 

After doing some reading, I think you have a 7000. Please go to this forum and ask your questions. They are much more into the coolsats than I.
