Very new to this. I had my system setup by someone and he's out of town right now. So I decided to come online and try to get it to work. I was able to retrieve the bin file V120. When it asked me to back to to factory reset I did that. I configured the system myself with directions. I get a signal, the system found all my channels and I uploaded the bin file. I reset the system and waited. After trying several times I still get scrmabled channels!! What did I do wrong? What did I miss? What really confuses me is that people who are just as green as me come on and got theirs working. Sorry if this was posted before I think it didn't go through 1st time
First you want to load the Factory 100 bin or whatever the Factory bin for your receiver is. Do a database setup. In Menu>System Setting if the same as CS6000. Now load the latest bin. Again do a database reset. (This will turn all autoroll back to ON) Hook up to your TV and select your satellite and scan for channels. When done, exit everything and get back to watching TV. You may still see 'Scrambled Chanel', but no worries. You just leave everything alone and allow you reciever to do it's job. The autoroll may take a little time to change the keys for you but it will come. I have had to wait once 13 minutes for the autoroll to do it's thing.
