I have a coolsat 6000. I left my coolsat on for about a week before I watched tv again. I had left it on channel 300. It shut off when I tried to use it. So I turned it back on and it keeps turning back off. It shows the number 3 on the coolsat and quick flashes to channel 300, no reception, and then the coolsat restarts. I have turned it off from the back, unplugged it, checked all the wires, and have even tried to start it w/o any wires going into it(except for the to TV wire). Any ideas on what happened and how I can fix it.
I don't own a Coolsat but have read about your problem. I think the fix is to load the factory bin file and then the latest bin on top of that. Have also read that it may take several trys to get the factory bin to actually load. Hope this works for you.
