copied movie ok, plays on compt ok, wont play on tv ??

    as the subject indicates. ive used srink @ decrypter for a while
    no problems. recently with new movie releases ive, copied with
    difficulty, but managed, only to find i can play copied dvd
    on compt but not on tv. cheers any suggestions

    I may be a media problem generaly DVD-R is more compatable with stand alone players, than DVD+R.
    Also what make of discs' are you using, it may not like them?

    Gringle is right on the money, as usual. When a burnt DVD plays well on the computer and not a standalone, it's generally the media. Standalones are more finicky to media brand and type (+ or -) than your computer.
