I'm trying to copy a copy which I have done before but when it is creating the image to be burned, I keep getting burn process failed, error reading data. It has happened on two different disks.
post your nero log go to C:\Program Files\Ahead\Nero\nerohistory.txt edit your nero key after you paste it, it starts 1A20 or similar peace

You do not need to choose image recorder you need to choose your DVD Burner and then uncheck the quick copy and it will temp put the image on the HDD which gives you less chance for error. Also You are not giving Nero anything to work with it cannot complete this project, there is no memory available for it. Close down some of your processes and background programs and no multi-tasking or Internet. Thanks for your reply. I actually did have the settings set the way you described. The source and the destination are both the same drive because I only have one dvd drive. I don't know what everything on the log means, but if it says that I had the image recorder selected instead of the drive and quick copy selected then something is worng. I had it set the same way you suggested. I tried copying on my other machine which has a Pioneer 106 and it copied fine. I don't know if it simply a better drive than this one eventhough this is a much newer drive, I think this has an NEC.
If you only have one drive then your source and target would be the same. It does have Image Recorder as a selection you may have inadvertantly selected this as your target. Glad you got it to work on your other drive.
