    hi there...
i recently got my xbox chipped.. i'm new to this.. i started to copy some dvds yesterday - the movie hostage staring bruce willis.. Afterwards when i wanted to watch it via xbox it had broken the dvd movie into parts. In order for me to watch the movie i have to play these parts one by one!!! Have i copied it correctly?? Is there something I need to download in order to watch the movie as a whole rather than playing the individual parts?? please help

What app are you using to DL the movie to your Xbox HD?

Just using the Copy DVD/CD-R feature within XBOX evo.. Copying XBOX games is no problem.. Am i suppose to use a different approach when copying DVD videos??

Well, I personally use DVD2Xbox to backup my movies to my HD. Not all movies DL correctly, but a lot work just fine. So, if your not using DVD2Xbox, then try using it, if you are, then we'll have to go a different route. You can find DVD2Xbox here, http://www.x-b-o-x.net/modules/news/

Hi, i've been using the DVD2Xbox to copy DVDs via Xbox. When i have a look at the contents on the Xbox drive it's created 2 directories:
Audio_TS(??) & Video_TS(??). Within Video_TS(??) there are several components in there. By clicking on these individually i'm able to watch parts of the DVD movie. Am I missing something here??

I have the same problem, I also use dvd2xbox to back movies and i use xbmc to playback but they in two file one for audio and the other for video, I can't playback the entire movie. */vob file and *'info file are there but I can't click on one file to play the entire movie.

Games work fine, I just make sure I copy to the F:\Games\... and I go
to the xbmc select the game and play.

I would like to backup a movie on the xbox and transfer the files back to my pc and burn dvd copy of the movie.
