Copy from miniDV to PC

    Please forgive me if this topic has already been covered.

    What do I need to copy/save videos taken with my Panasonic PV-GS19 and stored on a miniDV tape, to my PC. I've connected it via USB and downloaded the USB driver, but can only view the video on my PC, not save it.

    If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it!!!

    get a firewire cable

    For improve your quality you neea a firewire to have no qoality loss. But for your problem not registering your USB conection is depending of your sofware using, I can recomand you, Ulead Media Studio Pro 7, or Pinnacle any version, or Adobe Premiere any version, or Virtual Dub for profesional users.
