Copy guards vs 20x DVD firmware

I read somewhere that the 20x DVD Burners by all manufacturers have a code in their firmware that prevents burning copy guarded movies. I have a LiteOn 20x burner and AnyDVD and CloneDVD. On the latest movies AnyDVD will not even try to do it's magic. Any ideas or cures?

Thank you for your help. My LiteOn Model is LH-20A1H. I went to the site you suggested and found my model but there are 4 firmware possibilities there and I have no earthly idea which I should use, if any. Would appreciate any guidance. Thank you again.

I don't think it matters really.
I have noticed they list all stock f/w's.
But they are 'unscrambled'. So this takes away the problem you currently have.
They do patched f/w.
