my friend gave me a copy of bf 2. I installed it successfully. When i play it, it says sumthin like plz insert correct disc. Ive checked other threads didnt help. Can sum1 tell me plz how to make it work.
@-marcus23- IF your not here to help then quit posting lame answers or remarks! For your information I made a perfect backup of BattleField 2 using Alcohol 120%. My settings were "Datatype Safedisc 2/3" and read and write were set to 4x. Ask your friend what settings and program they used so we can see if we can get a working backup.
i just tried the alcohol 120 using the settings you said. it did copy it using sonic recorder and used the create data disc option. i then tried running the game using the disc that i just made, but it prompted me to insert a copy of the disc into cd drive. please help. don't know what to do. really appreciate it. much thanks
now does it not pick of the serial when playing online or do you just need to acquire a crack for it. I know for COD even a burnt copy would not work if you and the other individual online were trying to play at the same time.. just wondering dindysport
COD uses punkbuster on certain servers but you can play at the same time but just not on the same server that has punkbuster. If you created the image with Alcohol the you need to burn the image with Alcohol.
