I have an extensive VHS library and a new DVD burner. Wish to get around the "Cannot copy" message and be able to copy to a DVD-R.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thank you.

you need a device that goes inline with the video signal of the VCR to disable the macrovision built into the VHS tapes. You can find them online for around $30, try google

Thank you. Perhaps you would be kind enough to give this device a name.

    Thanks again.

    I must have suffered a brain f - - - with the last e-mail response.

Found some sites on Google and will purchase one as soon as I have digested all the data.

    Thanks again.
