copy protection on TV dvd recorder

    I have purchased a liteon lvw5000 dvd recorder can the copy protection be removed so i can backup my dvds

    I own a Panasonic DVD Recorder and have not been able to remove protection from dvd's or vhs. The only way I know to backup dvd's is by use of your PC.
