Is there any software, preferably freeware, that will copy protect a home-made DVD burned on a Windows 2000 PC?

Most programs break protection not put it on, especially for DVD movies. You will be hard pressed to find any free program that will do this.

Yes. I want to give it to someone. I'd prefer that it not end up in the public domain or sold on eBay. I'm aware that there may not be any DVD copy protection that is bullet proof, but anything that might make someone have to jump through some hoops. I don't think it's important enough for someone to go to that trouble, so I thought I'd try. In the long term, I may actually have work that is valuable, and I know nothing about trying to copy protect a DVD or CD. Right now my question is about a DVD.
