I have some VCR movies that I want to make backups to DVD. Want to know of any software that would handle that type. I have slyfox but it won't work with this project.

If they are on the PC as mpeg2 files, 'DVD Flick' will convert to DVD format and optionally burn to disk.

Hi, I also do backups of VCR movies. I have a hauppage USB2 Tv tuner, I use a software called Intervideo WinDVR3, which has a user friendly interface and is very easy to use, this programs copies the video as Mpeg2 files into the Hard disk, files which then I proceed to burn as DVD's with Nero vision, which does the job automatically and even lets you choose some cool menus.
