i've been searching through these and other forums for the last day or so and i just want to make sure that i'm looking in the right direction. here is my scenario.. my friend and i both have modded xboxes. i want to get some things off of his xbox HDD and onto my xbox. this would be easy enough to do, but his network card is apparently broken. is there an easy way to copy some (or all) of the contents of his xbox HDD onto my computer, so that i can FTP them onto my xbox? any help would be appreciated.
try using a crossover cable/ official xbox system link cable to connect both of your xboxs together. you said your xboxs were modded, so you could use on of the apps called xbox FTP client to transfer things from his xbox, to yours. there may be a diferent sort of thing to do this, depending on your dashboard. anyways just try connecting your xbox's together with the crossover cable or system link and go from there.
i think he's tried doing this with another xbox already. this is how he told me his network card is busted.
Oh his network card on his xbox, I see, well maybe you could use chimps hard drive cloning tool, but that might copy everything over.
