hi i have this cassette tape i want to put onto a cd.whats the best way to get the best result from a cassette tape onto a cd?im using nero6 thanks. benbernie
http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/eng/User_Guides_SoundTrax.html You have nero 6, look in the folder for nero soundtrax.
hi thyats what i use the sountrax in nero 6.i want the sound to be still better.any ideas?thanks ben bernie
download the free program Audacity. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ record the music, edit it to your liking, export it in a variety of formats and burn the cd. very simple, very easy, very good quality.
remember the basic rule of conversion: the quality of the converted duplicate will never be better than the quality of the original, nor even of equal quality. if you work with it enough, it can *sound* the same, but it still won't be the same. i hope the tape you have isn't too used, or you're pretty much SOL without some major professional equipment.
hi well its by a friend of mine in calif. its big band music from old 78s and i really like the songs.the tape is new but not the songs. but i get what your saying except.....whats "sol" mean?thanks again. benbernie
SOL = Shit Outta Luck do you have access to the original 78s? that would probably get you a better final result if they're in near the same condition as when they were recorded to tape.
