Would it be possible for me to write an AVI file to a recordable CD and then play using my xbox.
Will the picture be small (like watching on a PC)
Or is this just a waste of time and i should buy a DVD copier.

    Any advice will be enjoyed.

You will need to have Xbox Media Player running on your Xbox. Then make an XBox ISO of your avi, burn it to disc and watch it using XBMP. Full screen not like your PC.

Forget about making it into an ISO.Just burn like normal |ISO 9660|.XBMP and XBMC both read ISO 9660 Standard. Will save alot of time.

You might also want to try networking to tranfer ur movies,mp3,ect..
