copying computer movie to a dvd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i cant get my movie from my computer to work on a dvd player...ive tried many different formats wen i copy it but it doesnt work!!!
    my movie is wma...i created it from windows movie maker n now i cant get it to read wen i copy it to a dvd in a dvd machine???
    does anyone no how to fix this....pls help!!!!!

    HI rosalin,
    are you sure you have the right file as a wma is an audio file.You should have a wmv file.You will need to get a converter that will allow you to transfer the wmv to that of mpeg2.From there its rather simple to burn to dvd.

    Cant you save it in windows movie maker as an mpeg2 format?

    yeh sorry i ment wmv...i have roxio would that work?

    ive tried the program u said to downlaod...but wen i go to input file it says that it isnt a supported file...its a wmv file. i cant understand why it wont work?? please help
