I have nero express on my pc. i tried to copy ps2 dvd game and a normal dvd movie last night. I seemed to copy the ps2 game ok, but it wont work on the ps2, i copied it by just going to the icon copy entire disc, is this correct?
I also tried to copy a dvd movie the same way, but when copied, the screen is all messed up etc., is this to do with copyright control?
Am i copying the right way, or is there other software i should be using.
    Much help appreciated.
It would be great if someone could help, as i just recently successfully chipped my ps2 with dms3 and it works fine, just wanna learn now how to copy games!
    Thanks

wikid, I'm sure the games are copy protected. There should be a forum section on here for games that can help you. I don't do them so I don't know if its the same as dvds. Check the home page on here and also maybe at www.dvdrhelp.com Good info there too. Jerry

Does your PS2 have a mod chip? If not, then it will NOT play copies of game disks. The circuitry in PS2's (and PSX's and X-Boxes) looks for very particular kinds of errors intentionally placed on disks that cannot be copied by home disk recorders. The mod chips skips this step, allowing you to play backup copies. As far as getting into more detail on making backup copies of games disks, this really isn't the forum for that. This forum is about making backup copies of movie DVDs, which store data quite differently, have their own protection schemes and must be baked up in their own ways.

    Hi there,
I've tried Nero to make copies of my copies on the fly but non of the discs were readable after burning although Nero said writing was succesful. So after damageing a few discs I gave up on Nero, and now I'm using Alcohol 120% to copy on the fly in some cases together with AnyDvd and its perfect. Alcohol looks very prof. and it gives a far more detailed information about your system, softwares and discs your using. I give it a 6 afterdawns!!!Nero is good to burn your DVD files from your hard disc although many say it's not but for me it worked perfectly.
