I have DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink and am comfortable with copying my cinema movies as backups. I have searched everywhere I can think of and cannot figure out how to do this in a manner that will give me a copy as good as what is on the camera. I have a digital video camera and want to burn a copy of home movies from my cameara to DVDs. I have a DVD burner on my computer and just want to use that. The Sony software that came with my camera just makes 10 minute long MPEGs and that's about it. It won't allow me to copy a 60 minute tape. My Dell computer came with a DVD burner but no special software that I am aware of other than Windows Movie Maker. Neither Sony nor Dell have been helpful with my requests for support on this. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I thought this would be a simple procedure.
Dvd santa, to convert your movies from camcorder, to dvd-video format. You can then use dvd-santa to burn also, Or do as I do and run DVD shrink for the burn. I use dvd santa all the time for camcorder and avi/mpg converting. Good luck (Send me A PM if you have any more questions or problems).
