Hi, I'm new to all this techie stuff. I bought a Pentax video camera and recorded some movies on a SD memory card. I tried to use the software to download the movies onto a DVD but the the DVD doesn't work in a DVD player. I don't know why. Can someone please help?

    Thanks

It is in a format that your player does not recognize.....

I'm guessing you just burned the files from the SD card onto a DVD, which would be a data format DVD. Instead, you will need to load those files (onthe SD card) into an authoring program and compile/burn a DVD video format DVD if you want it to play in a home DVD player.

What kind of authoring program should be used? Any cheap good ones available?
