Hi, quick question.. If i have a downloaded game which is already run through abgx and burned properly, am I then able to just use Nero and select "Copy Disc" to make another copy? Alternatively, (i no longer have the game files stored on my PC) do i need to rip the .ISO from the backup, set layerbreaks etc and burn in imgburn? Thanks.
If it's already been run through abgx and is verified and safe for live you can simply copy the disc using clone cd.
I know its not what you guys are talking about I'm new to the xbox 360 I just flashed my benq drive and can play copyed games now if I play the copys on live will I get banned from live or does it brick your xbox?
whats the best program for copying games that I've already got I'm using xbox back up creator it worked on old games but not new games. it says unable to determine the current visible partition. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong.
That answer would depend on whether you want to make copies of burned discs or copies of original discs. For burned discs, just use ImgBurn to create an iso file of the disc. For original games, you must use a 360 drive that is flashed with a special firmware (0800) or have a special PC drive that is flashable with 'Kreon' firmware, which can copy original discs. 0800 is superior to Kreon in terms of accuracy and 360 drives are cheaper than the PC drives that support Kreon firmware, so the 0800 method is recommended.
original discs I'm now getting to the point where they are on my hard drive but the xbox is saying they are a dvd I got all the disc ppl say r the best use burning them slow but my drive only goes down to 3x burn speed I got gears 1 to work but only after I copyed it to my 360s hard drive its the benq drive I've flashed already and the dvd rom on my pc is the samsung sh-d162c with kreon firmware. but newer games wont play and some say something about video file before burning. can I use the other firmware with this drive to make it better and whats the best writers to use? also thank you for your input
And can i use the 0800 firmware with my samsung pc drive? Just so incase you didnt guess I'm new to this lol
Burning slow is an urban myth. If your media and burner are rated for higher speeds, burn at higher speeds. If you are forcing your drive to burn slower, you can induce problems. As for your issue on the 360, what firmware do you have flashed to your BenQ? What games are you trying to play on it? If older games play and newer ones don't, I'd say you probably have an older version of iXtreme for BenQ and need to update.
I'm guessing you meant iX 1.61. After re-reading your other post, if you are having troubles on originals, I'd say there is an issue with your laser.
Well it is a good thing you saved the drive key. Try burning a game at higher speeds and see if anything is different.
