I have had the DVD X Copy Platinum for about one year. About 85% of the Movie copies do not play in any computer or DVD player/recorder. Not even in the same computer the copy is made. The copies are done in my Sony Desktop. What's the reason and what can I do to fix it? Is Sony brand behind or the reason for this? Thanks for the help. Eric
Grab a copy of DVD Shrink, it will backup a good 95% of movies out there, for the other 5% like Lords of Dogtown, Grudge, etc. Grab a copy of DVDFab. I have been using these programs for years and have never had a problem. Everything plays in any standalone player I can find. Also make sure your not using crap media. Hope this helps.
@eric1011 As Deline said make sure you are not using crap media. What brand are you using? This could be your main problem. Also make sure the firmware on your burner is up to date. Burn speed plays another factor - I think but could be wrong haven't used xcopy in like a yr - copy defaults to max burn speed. I would also switch to the progs Deline listed.
