    Hey Nowfel,
Mail me the .bin and .cue that you have i know that there and have been 2 different supposed boot disks flying around the following being the first from 2001

    Origin..... Pal Filename.. iph-bcdr.rar

This BOOT CD can be used to load CD-R Backups, including EA games without any additional Game Shark/Action Replay Cartridge and works with V3 & V4 PS2 (We didn't test it on V5 consoles but it should work too).
In order to make it works, you will need the Demo CD that comes with the console (PBPX-95205) and a chip that use the doubleswap trick to load the backups.

    Method:

Load the Demo CD using the GAMES menu, and it will show FIFA as selection, then push X and swap the CD, insert the Boot CD-R and push X again and it will load REGION X asking only for the memory card. Now depending of what we want to load follow those easy
    instructions:
    - CD-R Classic Method: Push EJECT, insert the backup and close the tray, wait a few seconds and press Start.
    - CD-R EA Method: Press the EA's button, insert the backup and close the tray, then push start.
-Its only working with PAL Consoles, and the PAL DVD version of the December“s PS2 official magazine.

Wether that works is anyones guess... i do not have the demo cd BUT it sounds like a long shot to me.

Then there is the ps2bbdb2k.rar which contains the .iso (why there is a .cue file in there as well i will never know!) this originated 1999/2000

IF WHAT YOU HAVE WORKS THEN PLEASE BY ALL MEANS MAIL ME THE .RAR to thedogzbollox@blueyonder.co.uk

I don't think it will after various research over the years i have found varying reports thus being that each individual game is layered with 'bad sectors' which the ps2 identifys this as being the the original disk (the modchips tell it otherwise before anyone asks) and i am off the conclusion that if you were to have a boot disk that this disk would have to be of the same relation to the original ie. the bad sectors would have to be identical on the boot as they were on the original therefore you would need a boot disk per game to emulate the bad sectors for that title.

Food for thought and thoughts on this welcome )

hey guys,[bold]("\(o_O)[/bold] great forum, nice work!

Anyways ive been browsing the forums lately as i have successfully copied psx games to .bin, .cue e.t.c - And i am now working on thps3 for the ps2. I dont have a dvd/r so im cutting down the size so i can stick on a cdr then make the image. which leads me to the question

Can you make a .iso or .bin/.cue image from the files which are on your computer and no the cd. If so how? wat software?

    hey again,
ok i have now managed to make a .tao file directly from the cd using isobuster
once the .tao file was made, i then converted from .tao to .bin

-- there is no cue file

    have i lost any data?
can i create my own cue file with the standard data path file name in it .e.g

    FILE "C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\ADMINISTRATOR\DESKTOP\CD HAXING FOLDER\TOMB RAIDER CHRONC\TOMB RAIDER.BIN" BINARY
    TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
    INDEX 01 00:00:00

assuming there was a ps2 emulator that could run commercial games, do u think it wud run this puppy?

hey u people ive'd been not in this forum for a while but never forget this forum b'coz this forum is where i started to learn things about ripping so here's a little knowledge that would help some of u gamers out there to rip games first of all thanks to the guys at ps2mods paradise for there unlimited effort of making ripkits now to cut it short just visit the site www.allucard.cc i think you need to register first don't worry its free then after registering just go click the ps2mods DB view
& there u are all of the available ripkits that u can downloads. I use ntsc modes for my games so i can't guarantee for all pal versions for 100% running rip games iv'ed personally tried
(Grantheft Auto 3:VC, Smackdown:Shut ur Mouth, Downhill Domination, BMX XXX, Gundam Federation vs Zeon, Sega NBA 2k3 and a lot more) This is the name of the Ripper (Ghost Rider). the ripkit is cool just download it. its a winrar file so just run it and a ripkit module will popup then put ur original dvd to ur dvd rom then that's it. the iso generated should be burned in cdrwin(cd-rom XA,postgap,Mode 2) HIS RIPKIT IS EXCELLENT B'COZ U DIDNT HAVE TO COPY ALL UR FILES TO UR HARDDRIVE MEANING THE RIPKIT PROCESS IT IN MEMORY THEN GENERATES AN ISO THATS ALREADY RIPPED THE ONLY THING THATS GONNA BE IS THE ISO FILE. So people try it you will never regret it. and if its possible, Credit is all to Ghostrider, i Just Share it since we all need info right so Happy Ripping
